Wrist strap replacement and handle maintenance for padel rackets.
Every padel racket must have a secure wrist strap. If the strap is frayed, damaged or no longer secure, it should be replaced before the racket is used again.
Some rackets use a removable quick-change strap, while others have an internal fitting that requires the handle and butt cap to be opened. The work and parts required therefore depend on the racket.

Removable Wrist Strap Replacement
For rackets with a quick-change or removable strap system. The existing strap is removed and a compatible replacement fitted without dismantling the handle.
Brand-specific strap costs may vary.

Internal Wrist Strap Replacement
For rackets where the strap is secured beneath the butt cap. Includes opening the handle, fitting a suitable replacement strap, securely refitting the butt cap and fitting a new standard replacement grip.
Premium, comfort or specialist grips can be fitted at an additional agreed cost.

Replacement Grip
Removal of the existing base grip and fitting of a new standard replacement grip, wrapped evenly and neatly finished.

A fresh overgrip fitted over the existing grip. Available in selected colours and finishes, subject to availability.
Before work begins
Send me the racket make and model, together with a clear photo of the handle and strap. I’ll confirm which service is suitable, the total price and the likely turnaround before starting.
If the handle or butt cap is damaged, or the repair may affect a manufacturer’s warranty, I’ll explain this before proceeding.
